Thank you for your interest in Teen Girls "Street Smarts" Program. I am convinced that it's time to teach our girls safety awareness and defensive skills much earlier in life. This program is tailored for young teen women 9-15 years of age, grades 8-10th. This comprehensive program takes safety awareness to the next level.

Ambrose Academy is dedicated to bringing safety skills to the most vulnerable in our society. Stranger Smart programs for elementary aged children and women's self defense programs, some programs specifically tailored to the new challenges your teen daughter will encounter, such as Campus Safe Walk and now, Girls "Street Smarts."

Teen Girls "Street Smarts" is a program developed to give young teens a head start in safety awareness and self-defense skills well before they go to college.

Parents realize too late that there is a huge safety gap between the safety skills their daughters needed as children and teenagers and the safety skills needed as young women living alone away from home for the first time. Don't be the parent that waits two weeks before their daughter leaves for college before looking for a self-defense class.

Preventative measures are the best tools to keep a young girl safe. A base of knowledge and a foundation in self-protection gives her the tools, makes her more informed, and offers techniques and skills that she can choose to use to fend off an attack both physically and mentally.
The goal of the WCD Pre-Teen and Teen Girls Street Smarts is to ensure that girls and young women acquire the vital information and retain the tools of personal safety early in life, well before they leave for college or the workforce.
